Match all three fit points: angle, size, and gender. This version is 45°, 14mm, and male, so it is for a 14mm female rig joint that sits at a 45° angle. The center core is stationary and not removable. Its purpose is to add thermal mass at the bottom so the bucket can hold heat through the dab. That core-reactor layout is the main functional difference versus a plain bucket; it is not a removable insert system.

How Long Does A Core Reactor Hold Heat?

A core reactor banger can hold ideal dabbing temperatures (450-600°F) for 60-90 seconds after heating and a 40-60 second cool-down. This is much longer than a standard 2mm flat top banger, which often cools too quickly.

Do I Heat The Core Reactor Puck Or The Whole Base?

You should heat the entire bottom of the banger, including the area around the core puck. Heating only the puck can create hot spots and cause stress. The goal is to evenly saturate the entire base with heat, letting the core absorb and radiate it slowly.

What Is The Difference Between A 45 And 90 Degree Banger?

The degree refers to the angle of the neck connecting the bucket to the joint. A 45-degree banger is for rigs with an angled downstem, ensuring the bucket sits level. A 90-degree banger is for rigs where the joint points straight up from the base.

Does A Core Reactor Banger Need Terp Pearls?

Terp pearls are not necessary, as the core reactor itself provides excellent heat distribution. However, you can use one or two small (4mm) terp pearls to increase surface area and vaporization, especially for larger dabs. They will spin around the central core.
